WEEK 2 / THE NEXT DECISION

Henderson full again; await the game designation

New England confirms Henderson fully participated Wednesday and Thursday. Keep him in the RB comparison while awaiting the official game designation; the old Yahoo O tag does not override newer evidence. Do not assume an exact touch split with Stevenson. Pacheco remains an IR hold, not immediate cover. Loveland’s zero warrants TE competition, while RB depth remains more useful than a third quarterback. Recheck the current Tony Romo roster and pool before any claim.

THE FRANCHISE STORY

The Standard. Their house.

Practice Makes Perfect

Pat’s Perfect Team began with one audacious belief: excellence is built through preparation, discipline, and refusing to accept sloppy football. Founder and head coach Pat Mercer assembled the franchise in Providence, recruiting overlooked players who shared his obsessive attention to detail. Every practice ended only when each assignment had been executed correctly, earning the club its intimidating reputation for precision.

The team quickly became famous for clinical drives, immaculate uniforms, and game plans engineered to exploit every weakness. The Standard was designed around that philosophy, featuring a flawless field, symmetrical architecture, and a brilliant silver victory bell rung after every score. Opponents mock the word perfect until Pat’s squad dismantles them one calculated possession at a time.

Their mascot, Prime, represents the relentless pursuit of improvement. For this franchise, perfection is never presented as something already achieved. It remains the standard everyone must chase, every practice, every play, and every Sunday.
