It does not tell us the manager’s thought process, and a three-point win is no certificate that every choice will work again.
Week 2 brings Accomplished Accomplice, and modest RB insurance remains a reasonable question. Mason cannot provide immediate cover after Minnesota placed him on IR. Allgeier was an alternative in the captured pool; verify his current availability and role before using a claim. There is little reason to clutter this roster with a third quarterback while a usable backup at running back would answer a clearer need.
